We're now looking for a DC Pensions Administrator to join their growing administration team and help deliver a first-class service to our clients and their members. This role is ideal for someone with existing DC pensions experience who is keen to develop their career within a professional, forward-thinking organisation.The RoleAs a DC Pensions Administrator, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and customer-focused pension administration services across a portfolio of schemes. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing a wide range of DC administration activities, including leavers, retirements, transfers (in and out), and deathsUpdating pension administration systems and databases accuratelyLogging, scanning, and managing post and correspondenceHandling internal and external telephone and written enquiries professionallyRunning automated system calculations and completing manual benefit calculations where requiredProducing customer correspondence to draft or final letter standards using electronic document management systemsMonitoring procedural developments and supporting the implementation of changesReturning original documentation and certificates to members securelyAmending and, with experience, checking non-financial transactions such as changes of addressDeveloping knowledge of assigned clients and their pension schemesSupporting project work and wider team initiativesProviding informal mentoring and support to junior team membersWorking collaboratively with internal and external teams (e.g. Payroll, Accounts, Admin Support)Accurately recording time and meeting utilisation targetsContributing to non-client activities such as training, technical committees, and eventsAbout YouEssential experience and skills:

Proven experience in Defined Contribution (DC) pensions administration, covering leavers, retirements, deaths, and transfers(Typically 2+ years' experience, though all applications are considered on merit)A basic knowledge and awareness of the pensions industryStrong numerical aptitude, demonstrated through work experience or qualificationsIT-confident, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookHighly organised with excellent planning and prioritisation skillsAble to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesAccurate, detail-focused, and quality-drivenStrong written and verbal communication skillsCustomer-focused mindset with a commitment to exceeding expectationsA proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to workAble to take ownership of tasks and see work through to completionA collaborative team player with good problem-solving skillsQualifications

Educated to A-Level, Degree, or equivalentGCSE Maths and English (grade C/5 or above or equivalent)Desirable

Willingness to study for a professional pensions qualification (e.g. CPC, DPC, RPC, APMI)A clear commitment to building a long-term career in pensions administrationDeveloping technical knowledge across different pension arrangements (DC, DB, CARE)A continuous-improvement mindset, with an interest in enhancing processes and proceduresStrong relationship-building skills with colleagues, clients, and third partiesBenefits on offer
