Description

How would you like to get paid for five days, but only work four?

At Outcomes First Group, we believe in better work/life balance — and we’re putting wellbeing first.

That’s why we’re proud to be part of a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours), while still receiving your full-time pay.

Many of our schools have already introduced the 4DWW — and others are preparing to roll it out as soon as they reach full staffing. So whether it’s already in place or just around the corner, now’s the perfect time to join #teamOFG.

School Receptionist

Location: Meadows View School, Stamford, PE9 2JL

Salary: £20,906.25 per annum (not pro rata)

Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

Start: October 2025

About the Role

At Meadows View School, the School Receptionist is much more than a front-of-house role — you are the welcoming smile that sets the tone for everyone who enters our school. You’ll ensure the safety and security of the school, manage visitor access, respond to calls and emails, and assist the Admin Lead with key administrative tasks, including attendance monitoring, communicating with parents, and maintaining accurate records. Your role is central to keeping the school running smoothly and making sure pupils, staff, and families feel valued and supported every day.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a warm, organised, and approachable individual who thrives in a dynamic school environment. You should have a positive, can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with professionalism and calm.

This is an opportunity to join a close-knit, supportive school community where your role truly makes a difference. If you enjoy creating welcoming, inclusive environments and being at the heart of school life, this could be the perfect role for you.

Essential Criteria

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy school environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management systems

Friendly, approachable, and professional manner

Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
