Kopek Security & Facilities Ltd is a supplier of manned and canine-assisted security services nationwide. It prides itself on its high standards as evidenced by its numerous accreditation's.

With the strapline, Deter, Detect, Defend, the company sees its role as first and foremost, preventing trouble, damage and the associated conflict, delays and costs before they occur.

Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit Supervisors within our Operations department. The role is based at our Hinckley office with travel required across the Midlands and sometime further afield.

We expect our Operation Supervisors to be ambassadors, acting as role models, being upbeat about Kopek Security and Facilities Ltd and the Security Industry.

The role of Operation Supervisors will be based on a rota basis of days, nights and weekends. The standard rota will be 4 on/off. Average working hours 48hrs week. (subject to roster).

Responsibilities and Duties

* Be the first point of contact for Kopek’s 24-hour control room

* Scheduling guards and Dog Handlers in to shifts using IT systems, emails and Teams

* Reacting to last minute changes and requests

* Handle incidents reported by clients & colleagues

* Escalate incidents to the Out of hours Escalation if necessary.

* Report writing and updating trackers

* Complete regular Site visits and Security Officer Inspection forms

* Check site compliance and complete Risk Assessments

* Be point of contact for Kopek employees and customers whilst on duty

* Alarm response

* Support and mentor other team members

* Complete Return to Work conversations following periods of absence

* Manage lateness and escalate when required

* Continuous compliance with British Standards

* Lead by example, Use of discretion

* Use initiative & common sense

* Complete training as & when necessary

Qualifications and Necessary Experience

* SIA Door Supervisor Licence (as a minimum)

* Previous experience supervising teams

* UK Full Drivers Licence - Manual (for response)

* Relevant Supervisory/Leadership Experience/Qualifications

* IT literate
