LamasaTech are looking for an Operations Executive to join our growing team.

About The Role:

As Operations Executive you will support the day to day operational and finance needs of the business. This is a varied role which will require the successful candidate to multitask and have the ability to work with teams across the business to ensure operational success.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, possess excellent people skills and be comfortable working with new software systems. They will have the ability to learn quickly and retain information easily, and have a genuine enthusiasm for small business culture - wearing multiple hats, working closely with a tight-knit team, and thriving in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Include but not limited to:

Work closely with the Head of Operations and Finance Manager supporting their activitiesArrange and manage international and domestic shipping alongside preparation of customs documents including booking domestic shipments on systemsObtain shipping quotations as requested by our Customer Success and Sales TeamsTracking and monitoring of shipments and updating account managers and clients as applicableManage and update our serial number registerHandle operational related admin tasks such as route planning and bookings for engineers if requiredUpdating tasks with notes for transparency including updates from manufacturing etc.Using the CRM for accurate record keepingInvoicing of dealsCreation and management of purchase orders - communicating with production for updates on ordersReconciliation of paymentsReconciliation of stockCollection and processing of incoming invoices and receiptsGeneral administrative support to Operations and Finance teamsManage operational admin tasks where requiredAbout you:

Skills and Experience:

Highly organisedTime management - able to manage workload and complete tasks on timeAttention to detail - able to maintain accuracy in tasksExcellent communication skills both written and verbalAbility to work individually and as part of the wider team to achieve collective goalsConfident with IT - able to learn software systemsAble to follow and improve processesAble to use initiative and adapt to new situationsDesirable Skills and Experience:

Although experience in these areas would be desirable, full training will be provided.

Experience with international logisticsExperience using ERP systemsExperience using XeroHours and location:

40 hours per week.

The role is based at our UK office in Benton, a short distance from the centre of Newcastle Upon Tyne. Office work is required for this role.

We operate a hybrid working model where 1-2 days can be worked from home after full induction is complete and according to business needs. Our standard office hours are 09:00 - 17:30, Monday - Friday. We also operate a flexible working hours policy for applicable roles.
