Description

Ideal Recruit are looking for a high-calibre Office Manager for our busy client in Huyton - Liverpool.

Working hours and pay rate:

Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30

GBP15.85 per hour

This isn t just an admin role we want someone who can take ownership of the office, administration and compliance side of the business, ensuring everything is organised, up to date and running efficiently.

The role would include responsibilities such as:

Overseeing the day-to-day running of the office.

Managing all office administration and ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

Maintaining well-organised digital and paper filing systems.

Managing confidential employee personnel files.

Preparing contracts, onboarding paperwork and maintaining HR records.

Monitoring holidays, sickness, probation periods and Right to Work documentation.

Assisting with HR documentation, including disciplinary and grievance paperwork where required.

Keeping company policies and employee records up to date.

Compliance & Training

Maintaining all employee training records.

Scheduling refresher training before certificates expire.

Keeping records up to date for forklift licences, First Aid, Fire Marshal, Manual Handling, Health & Safety, Driver CPC (where applicable) and any other required training.

Ensuring all compliance documentation is organised and audit-ready.

Health & Safety Administration

Maintaining risk assessments, accident records and COSHH documentation.

Organising PPE issue records.

Keeping inspection certificates and Health & Safety paperwork up to date.

Assisting with toolbox talks and ensuring all H&S files are well organised.

Transport Administration

Supporting the transport department with paperwork.

Filing PODs and transport documents.

Maintaining driver files.

Organising licence checks, vehicle records, MOTs, servicing and operator licence compliance paperwork.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, methodical, trustworthy and confident using google drive. They should be able to work independently, prioritise multiple tasks and take real ownership of the office and administrative function.
