Location: Alwalton, Peterborough

Shift: 4 on / 4 off, 7:00pm - 7:00am

Pay rate: GBP13.58 per hour (hourly rate would increase once the position becomes permanent)

What you'll be doing:

Complete handover verbally / via emailCheck all drivers are on time on fleetmanagerDebrief paperwork as it comes inSafety observations & Gate checks (To be trained out)Print and visual truck cleaning checksTemperature Probe calibrationsHelp organise service trailers for VMUInvoice administrationLiaise with customers regarding any late runners / failsUpdate Riches, General Mills, Deli France reports dailyGRRS + Legging (late runners, failures), completing all legsPlanning the work to driversAllocate drivers to runs days/nights on Hydra. Drivers/vehiclesBook / Manage agency driversSuper Debriefs (TBC In the future)Aquarius (Digital data, Card Dips, Defects + job sheets)Completion of agency driver declaration forms + licence copies every time on shift - unless in for the week as issued processDaily discussions with organising planning with plannerDay to day challenges from driversWhat we're looking for:

Previous experience in logistics, transport, or schedulingStrong computer skills, particularly ExcelGood knowledge of UK geographyClear and confident communication skills (written & verbal)Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitaskCalm and professional under pressureStrong teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skillsWhat's in it for you:
