International Student AdministratorInternational Student Enquiries & Admissions Coordinator Location: Manchester City Centre

Contract: Temporary up to 6 months

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)/ On-site Hourly Rate: GBP15.36 plus holiday pay

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Student Enquiries & Admissions Coordinator to join a busy higher education environment in central Manchester on a 6-month temporary basis.

This is a fast-paced, front-line role where you'll act as a key point of contact for prospective students, handling enquiries and supporting them through the admissions journey. You'll play an essential role in delivering an excellent applicant experience, helping convert enquiries into enrolments.

Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a first point of contact for prospective students, providing accurate advice on courses, entry requirements, and admissions processes.Manage enquiries via email, phone and CRM systems, ensuring timely and professional responsesSupport applicants throughout the admissions cycle, from initial enquiry through to offer and enrolmentWork closely with internal teams (faculties, admissions, recruitment) to ensure smooth processes and consistent communication.Maintain and update applicant data in line with GDPR requirementsAssist with reporting, data analysis, and tracking enquiry trends to support recruitment activityContribute to improving enquiry handling processes and conversion ratesSupport recruitment events, open days, and other student engagement activities

About YouExperience in a customer service or student-facing administrative role (university sector desirable)Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearlyHighly organised with excellent attention to detailComfortable managing a high volume of enquiries in a fast-paced environment Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholdersExperience working with diverse audiences, including international students, is an advantage.
