What you'll be doing;

Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure contractual KPIs and service level agreements are consistently met or exceededAnalyse customer requirements and operational challenges to identify solutions that optimise contract revenue, margin performance and service efficiencyProduce accurate, timely and comprehensive reporting on all contract activities, including performance metrics, compliance data and operational outputsAct as primary point of contact for DESA customers, ensuring service delivery aligns with contractual specifications while identifying opportunities for service expansion and new business developmentMonitor market conditions and competitor activity to maintain Veolia's competitive positioning within the DESA frameworkImplement waste hierarchy principles across all operationsCoordinate task allocation and tracking systems to ensure all work orders are assigned to correct recipients and monitored through to completion

What we're looking for;

A Level standard education or equivalent vocational qualificationProven experience in a customer-facing role within the waste management, recycling, environmental services or logistics sectorsDemonstrable experience in contract management, account management or service coordinationStrong analytical capabilities with experience in performance reporting, data analysis and KPI managementProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with CRM or job management systemsUnderstanding of waste classification, duty of care documentation and environmental compliance requirementsKnowledge of DESA (Defence Estate Services Authority) contracts or public sector procurement frameworks would be advantageousExperience with waste transfer notes, consignment notes and hazardous waste documentationFamiliarity with waste industry regulations including Environmental Permitting Regulations and Waste (England and Wales) Regulations
