Description

Are you a technically minded administrator with an eye for detail? We are seeking a CAD & Project Administrator to join a fast-paced office environment in Braintree. This is a pivotal role that sits between the initial client enquiry and the final installation. You will be responsible for translating project requirements into technical drawings and professional quotes, ensuring clients receive accurate and timely information.

Key Responsibilities

CAD Design: Producing and amending 2D technical drawings for commercial ventilation and HVAC projects. Project Quoting: Preparing detailed costings and professional quotations for clients based on specific project requirements. Client Liaison: Communicating with clients via phone and email to clarify project details and provide updates on quotes. Project Coordination: Tracking the progress of enquiries and ensuring all documentation is filed correctly for the installation teams. Administrative Support: Providing general administrative assistance to the management team to ensure the smooth running of the office. Candidate Requirements

CAD Knowledge: A working knowledge of AutoCAD (or similar CAD software) is important. Further on the job training will be provided. Previous experience or knowledge of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems is beneficial, though full training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the right technical mindset. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner. Organisational Skills: The ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. IT Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Reliability: A proactive team player with a strong work ethic, comfortable with a 07:30 am start.
