Band 3 Administrator Fixed Term Contract (12 months)

Location: Gloucester

Salary: Starting at GBP25,760

Are you an organised, proactive professional with experience in administration and a passion for supporting IT services? We are looking for a Band 3 Administrator to join our team on a 12–month fixed–term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference across the organisation.

About the Role

As part of the IT Support Team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT Service Desk. You ll be the first point of contact for staff IT queries, providing support in person, over the phone, and via our portal and remote tools.

Your work will be varied and impactful, including:

Supporting day–to–day IT operations and tracking requests in the systemManaging clinical inductions and ensuring staff receive the IT equipment needed for their rolesAssisting with smartcard creation, systems access requests, and basic IT setupsLiaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issuesManaging IT equipment delivery, disposal, and pool car recordsProducing ad–hoc reports and supporting procurement processes What We re Looking For

Previous experience in a public sector or large organisational administration environmentStrong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detailComfortable working with IT systems and able to communicate technical information clearlyAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environmentFull UK driving licence (for equipment deliveries across sites) Why Join Us?
