About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Dock Controller / Dock Office Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced logistics operation based in Bridgwater.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and attention to detail who enjoys working within transport, warehouse, and distribution environments. You will play a key role in coordinating deliveries, managing records and supporting both transport and warehouse teams to ensure the smooth flow of goods in and out of site.

Key Responsibilities Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveriesAct as a key point of contact for drivers and warehouse teamsManage and maintain accurate electronic and manual recordsMonitor loading bays and stock movement activityRespond to customer and driver queries professionallyInvestigate and report discrepancies where requiredConduct regular stock checks and escalate issues appropriatelySupport transport and warehouse colleagues with daily operationsEnsure all paperwork and system updates are completed accuratelyWork to deadlines within a fast-paced operational environment

Candidate Requirements Previous administration, warehouse, transport, or logistics experience preferredLevel 2 Business Administration qualification or equivalent preferredStrong IT skills including Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to analyse information and work accurately under pressureHigh attention to detailGood problem-solving skills and ability to use initiativeStrong numerical and written communication skillsKnowledge of health & safety procedures desirable
