Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated Stock Controller to join their team in based at Edinburgh Waverley Train Station, for a temporary role lasting 3 months. This full-time position is perfect for someone passionate about inventory management and looking to make a difference!

Location: Conveniently located just 5 minute's walk from Edinburgh Waverley train station and St Andrew Square tram station.

Rate: £15.25 per hour

Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, any 5 days in 7, 6am - 2.30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Stock Controller, you will:

Manage Orders: Maintain optimal inventory levels using D365, from order creation to delivery.

Inventory Management: Conduct physical checks, ensure stock rotation, and coordinate daily cycle counting.

Quality Assurance: Perform daily quality checks and report discrepancies to management.

Collaboration: Work closely with local management and supply chain teams to meet business targets.

What You Bring:

A minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse or stores environment.

Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a clear telephone voice.

Qualifications:

Three passes at GCSE O Level (grade C or above) or equivalent.

Manual handling training preferred but not essential.
