Job Type: Full-timeLocation: Great YarmouthSalary: CompetitiveHours: Monday to Thursday 8-4.30 Friday 8-3.30 We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our dynamic manufacturing sales team. This role is ideal for someone with a proven ability to build and nurture strong customer relationships and drive sales growth across diverse markets. As a Sales Executive, you will act as a trusted partner to our clients, delivering solutions that add value and strengthen long-term partnerships.

Day-to-day of the role:

Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, focusing on customer retention, revenue expansion, and cross-selling.Handle new enquiries from initial contact to receiving purchase orders, including managing technical specifications, costing, and providing quotations.Follow up with customers after dispatch on the first order to check satisfaction.Understand and define customer requirements in terms of product specification, delivery time expectations, ongoing supply, and address any previous issues to ensure a smooth supply chain.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new products to meet their requirements. Keep the internal CRM system up to date with detailed notes and clear communication for other stakeholders.Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and customer communication materials.Analyse sales metrics, track progress towards sales goals, identify trends, and recommend improvements.Conduct visits to customer sites to discuss their account, potential new projects, and any added value work. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in a customer-focused role within the manufacturing sector.Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for exceeding customer expectations.Ability to understand clients' business processes and propose solutions to their challenges.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Proficiency in IT software (Microsoft packages, Excel, Word, etc.).Exceptional attention to detail.Analytical and results-oriented mindset with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
