Location: Ipswich

Job Type: Full–time, Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

The Opportunity

TeamJobs is working with a well–established and highly regarded business within the heating, cooling and HVAC industry to recruit an experienced Sales Engineer for their Ipswich branch.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically knowledgeable sales professional with experience in refrigeration, air conditioning, chillers and/or AHUs. Your main focus will be driving business growth by developing new opportunities while building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

What You'll Be Doing

Identifying and securing new business opportunities across the region.

Managing and developing relationships with existing clients.

Regularly visiting customer sites to understand their requirements.

Providing expert technical advice on refrigeration and air conditioning solutions.

Assisting with the design of HVAC systems based on client specifications.

Preparing accurate quotations and proposals.

Managing opportunities through the full sales process and closing deals.

Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors and internal teams.

Delivering an outstanding level of customer service throughout the process.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

A proven sales background within refrigeration, air conditioning, chillers and/or AHUs.

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and solutions.

Previous customer relationship management experience within the industry.

Excellent commercial and financial awareness, including experience managing budgets and resources.

Strong communication, negotiation and relationship–building skills.

A customer–focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365.
