Estimator – Role and Responsibilities – Bid Administrator, Estimating, Tenders, Contracts, Sales, Machine Shop, Precision Engineering

Compilation of quotes for the provision of subcontract machining services.

Working with the relevant internal departments to gather the necessary details: Technical, Planning, Purchasing and Production.

Proficient in Microsoft suite of software.

Site visits, though infrequent, will form part of the role.

Candidates should be meticulous in approach to preparing information to the exact requirements of the required quote.

You must have the communication skills to ensure the required information is made available to match the timescale required.

Previous experience spent working in a machine shop environment is essential.
