Description

Marketing Assistant

Location: Clevedon, with some travel to the Newcastle–under–Lyme site, and some home working flexibility.

Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week) 08:45 to 16:45 Monday to Thursday, 08:45 to 16:00 on a Friday

Salary: Competitive Salary

Job Responsibilities:

Update and maintain a range of customer–focused marketing materials, including sales collateral, brochures, and presentations.

Provide proactive marketing support across the entire business function.

Conduct market research to identify and analyse emerging industry trends and insights.

Assist with the planning and organisation of annual trade shows and events (requiring occasional UK and European travel).

Collaborate with Account Managers to deliver tailored marketing insights in response to customer requests.

Support group–wide marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Manage the procurement and production of branded materials by liaising with external print suppliers.

Key Skills:

Proven hands–on experience across the full marketing mix.

Proficiency with graphic design software (such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign) and the ability to work within brand guidelines is a strong advantage.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting both internally and externally.

High proficiency across Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.

Experience liaising effectively with external suppliers, agencies, and printers.

Background or genuine interest in the food ingredients or food product development industry is highly desirable.

Excellent time management skills with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.

Qualifications GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade B or above in Maths and English Language.

Must possess a full, clean UK Driving Licence and have access to a reliable car for travel between sites.
