Area Sales Manager (Construction Machinery)

Alexander James Recruiting is currently looking for a driven sales professional to work for a well-established supplier of various construction equipment to cover and develop their client base across Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas. With a package to include a competitive salary and commission scheme as well as a company car this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced salesperson looking to take on a new role.

Responsibilities

Looking after a strong, existing customer base

Business development across Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas selling heavy plant and other construction products

Providing a consultative approach to customers and assist product demonstrations from time to time

Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth

Sell the companies range of products and cooperate effectively with the service and parts team

RequirementsIdeally, you will have some previous experience in a sales role, preferably with a background in heavy plant or another area within construction, with some experience of equipment including excavators, dumpers and tele-handlers. However, they may be open to individuals from other backgrounds, including agricultural machinery and material handling. Crucially, you will be motivated by meeting targets, with the drive and focus to commit to a long-term role. This is a career-moving opportunity with a business that puts its staff at the forefront.
