Just had my driveway renovated by SDS Driveways. They have done the most amazing job I could imagine. My drive had broken concrete and roots growing underground by a massive conifer tree. Peter and his guys made no fuss of breaking up the concrete or destroying the tree roots. I could never imagine my driveway looking nice again but they've done it. Overwhelmed with the result. I hired Peter and Thomas to carry out a roof repair in two different areas of my main house roof. A young guy called Spencer started work to replace felt and battens on the Thursday and should have come back the next day to continue, however Peter & Thomas decided the weather was going to be a bad rainy day so only told me this when I called them to find out why they hadn't turned up at 8.30 am on the Friday as I was told by Peter. The weather was a lovely clear sunny day up until 2.00 pm when it started to rain. After finishing the day's work on Thursday evening they left without securing my roof with waterproof covering (which we didn't know about and neither did Thomas it seems despite saying it was covered and Peter telling me it wasn't) thereby on Saturday morning (which they knew was going to be a bad heavy rain day) we discovered rain leaking through the master bedroom ceiling soaking my carpet, the towels we placed around and the top of my wardrobe. We called them straightaway but they could not get hold of any of their men to come out and secure our exposed roof. We told them that they should come now and do something and Peter said 'What am I to do?" and my son Alex said of course get out here yourselves and cover it. To cut a very long story short we had to call an emergency roofer out who came within 2 hours. After several further texts and calls Peter finally said he would get Thomas and come out now. They never did so my emergency roofer went up to the roof and covered it with tarpaulin after waiting for them for an hour giving them time to arrive at my house. I sacked Peter and Thomas as I could no longer trust them to continue with the work and I stupidly paid them all the money before the job was completed (as we were going to have another job done so they gave me an estimate of £4,000) and wanted the rest of the money for this job to pay for materials for the next job, and now they are refusing to refund me. They caused a terrible brown stain in the living room underneath the master bedroom where the leak started and now I have to pay £290 to have it painted. I do NOT recommend these guys to do any roofing work despite the photos they put out.
