Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain vehicles, including HGVs and small plant machinery, ensuring all checks and routing maintenance are completed.Engage in construction and highways maintenance works, contributing your expertise to various projects.Participate in winter and summer standby duties, including emergency callouts.Maintain accurate records of Drivers’ hours and relevant paperwork as required.Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.Possess and maintain important qualifications including a valid HGV license (Class 2 preferred) and drivers CPC card, as well as an NRSWA card.

Ideal Candidate:

Holds an NRSWA card and other relevant qualifications such as 12D RTM Operative (Mod1/2), Emergency First Aid, and Manual Handling.Demonstrates a strong 'work safe, home safe' mentality, prioritising Health and Safety in all tasks.Exhibits excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Is self-motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.Shows initiative to challenge existing practices and suggests improvements for efficiency.
