Excellent condition Trek 1200 Road Bike. Extremely lightweight. Equivalent to the Allez, only better spec.

Shimano Tiagra Triple Chainset (3 x 9) set up with excellent Tektro brakes. These are excellent and provide maintenance free braking for your entire journey. Discs brake pads wear out incredibly fast and especially on tour with weight. Incredibly annoying when they heat up and fail. For reliability, rim brakes are best. This set of wheels have very little wear. So 10/15 years of life left. Discs are a yearly expense.
9 speed so thicker chain, so it won't snap. Unlike 10/11/12 speed chains which are too weak for touring. Again, bike shops love thin chains. Designed to fail.

All listings have been test ridden. Each bike has been fully stripped down and given a complete overhaul. Each and every part is cleaned, tested and should it need to, replaced. No bike leaves the workshop unless it has had this process. As a used bicycle, expect some signs of usage.
