Saddle - Ideale TB 80 Type Record Leather saddle. With micro adjust feature.

Seat Post - 26.4mm

Seat Post Clamp - Vintage Ideale Seat Clamp Made In France For Single Rail Leather Saddle 60s 70s.

Shifters - Classic Simplex Prestige conversion friction shifters circa 1970`s.

These special shifters are designed to be used on a frame that was only fitted with a braze on for a single shifter so that it could be used with a double or triple chainset. The idea was that French manufacturers could make the same frame for both 5 and 10 speed versions of a bike.

The left shifter is mounted on a band that fits a standard 28.6mm diameter frame tube. The band then fits over the frame brazing and you can then fit the right shifter to the frame brazing. A cheap, elegant solution that saves you getting a new brazing fitted to your frame. Please note that the right shifter is mounted using a French sized coarse threaded 5mm screw - this fits certain models of Simplex and Huret frame brazing but not the Camapagnolo or Japanese brazings that use a fine thread.

Front Derailleur - Simplex LJ23. Needs attention or Possibly replaced for smoother shifting.

Rear Derailleur - Simplex Prestige.

New Reels of Newbaum's Cotton Handlebar Tape.
