Description
Bought this in Jan 2024 from Harbour Cycles in London. Selling it now as I have knee problems and have switched to a geared bike.
Upgrades
- Nov 2025: New front tyre
- Feb 2026: New front chainring and new chain
- Mar 2026: New brake pads
- Aug 2026: Brand new rear tyre, inner tube, and pedals
Spec
- Flip flop hub: Freewheel side is 16T, fixed side is 18T. I've mostly used it on the fixed side but have flipped it back to single speed to sell. If you want it on the fixed side please let me know.
- Front chainring is 46T
- 700c wheels
- Front tyre 25mm, rear tyre 23mm
- High tensile steel frame and fork (according to Goku website). Some paint is missing.
- 40mm Deep V Alloy rims
- Sealed bearing hubs ( aluminium )
- Headset: "AHEADSET SAS/STS"
- Aluminium bull horn handle bar W:42cm
- Winzip alloy brake calipers
- Sealed 68x107.5mm Bottom Bracket (English)
- 25.4mm alloy seat post
- Synthetic leather saddle
It's a used item so it's got the usual rattles you would expect from a second hand bike. If you're the sort of person who likes their bike perfectly tuned, you may want to replace the sealed bearings in the wheels hubs, as there is some play due to wear. The rear wheel has a missing spoke and does not run perfectly true. If you just want to get from A to B then this bike will be perfect.
