Designed for More
Carrera bikes are for everyday riders and weekend adventurers who are looking for a real step up in their cycling.
If you want more miles, more mountains, more twists and turns, more bumps and jumps, more freedom and more fun, Carrera bikes will take you to the next level, to wherever you want to go, never looking back. They make you feel good about your bike and make you feel good about yourself.
No matter where you ride there is a Carrera specifically designed and developed to help support you in cycling more.
Designed and built for speed, the Carrera Zelos has the perfect combination of features for hitting the road featuring a slick lightweight alloy frame and an upgrade on previous with mechanical disc brakes.
Extra Comfort
Customers told us that features such as saddle comfort were a crucial element of their riding experience.
Recognising this we've therefore equipped the Carrera Zelos with memory foam saddles as standard - helping you spend even more time comfortably on your rides.
These saddles are specific to the discipline and their shape is designed to complement that style of riding.
Additional Peace of Mind (and grip!)
To give you even more riding time and not have you standing idle we're also giving you more peace of mind by fitting 'Carrera Puncture Protection' tyres as standard.
Which include an additional layer of puncture resistant material running around the tyre which will help reduce the incidence of punctures.
Additionally, we've upgraded the tyres on all Carrera road bikes to a wider 28c width which not only gives extra grip but will run at lower pressures and give a smoother overall ride.
Efficient Modern Gears
With the help of a 14-speed Shimano gear set featuring a compact 50/34t chainset you will find that both climbing hills and building up speed on the flat is made easy.
Gear changes will feel slick and smooth and a large range cassette ensures you'll be transferring energy from the pedals to the rear wheel efficiently.
