Contract Details:

Position: Translator/Speech and Language AnnotatorContract Length: 9 monthsDesired Start Date: ASAPHours per Week: 40Hourly Rate: 19.70 Euro

Your Role:

As a Translator, you will be at the forefront of bridging language barriers! Your responsibilities will include:

Translation: Convert written content from the source language to the target language with accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.Review & Edit: Proofread and edit translations to ensure consistency with organizational terminology and style guidelines.Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and cross–functional teams to align on tone, terminology, and best practices.Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with utmost discretion.Project Management: Oversee translation projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high–quality standards.Resource Updating: Assist in maintaining glossaries, translation memory tools, and linguistic reference materials.What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Dutch and English languages (written and verbal).Grammar & Syntax Mastery: A strong command of grammar, syntax, and linguistic nuances.Attention to Detail: Excellent proofreading skills to ensure the highest quality translations.Multi–tasking Ability: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast–paced environment.Technical Competency: Familiarity with translation tools, productivity software, and document formatting.Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in professional translation, localization, or related linguistic work.Familiarity with industry–standard translation tools (e.g., CAT tools).Experience in a corporate environment and working with cross–functional teams.Why Join Us?
