Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Supervisor to lead and oversee our retail operations within the designated region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing teams, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Store Supervisor will play a pivotal role in developing strategic initiatives to expand market presence and optimise operational efficiency.
Duties
Lead, motivate, and supervise store teams to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to maximise product visibility and sales performance.
Oversee daily operations, including stock management, visual displays, and compliance with company policies, stock rotation and ensuring all stock remains fresh and within date.
Analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimise business strategies.
Manage budgets, control expenses, and ensure profitability across all stores within the region.
Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and local community stakeholders to enhance brand presence.
Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to promote professional development.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
Skills
Proven management experience in retail or sales environments, with supervisory responsibilities.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate communication across diverse customer bases.
Proficiency in merchandising, sales management, and administrative tasks such as Rota formation.
Demonstrated expertise in time management and strategic planning.
Experience in team management, supervising staff performance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions with innovative problem-solving skills.
