Job Title: Stores Operative / Stores Coordinator

Location: London Heathrow Airport

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday (Full-time)

Contract: Permanent

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and organised Stores Operative to manage the day-to-day operation of our clients stores function. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, control, and issue of parts and materials to support engineering and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and book in deliveries, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders

Issue parts and materials to engineering and operational teams as required

Maintain accurate stock records using stock control systems

Monitor stock levels and highlight shortages or re-order requirements

Carry out regular stock checks and audits

Ensure stores are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards

Liaise with suppliers, procurement, and internal departments

Manage returns, warranty parts, and discrepancies

Support continuous improvement within the stores function

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience working in a stores, warehouse, or stock control role

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Good IT skills (experience with stock systems desirable)

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of health & safety procedures within a stores xjnqpsq or warehouse environment

Experience in an engineering, transport, or automotive environment (desirable but not essential)

Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities
