Retail Assistant / Delivery Driver – Premier Glenkirk

We are looking for a reliable, friendly and hardworking team member to join us at Premier Glenkirk in Drumchapel.

This is a varied role combining in-store retail duties with local Scoot deliveries. You will be part of the day-to-day shop team, carrying out all general store duties, while also picking, preparing and delivering customer orders when required.

When there are no deliveries, you will work fully as part of the in-store team. This is not a driving-only position, so we’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable working with customers, stocking the shop and helping with the everyday running of the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve customers and provide friendly, professional service

• Operate the till and handle transactions

• Restock shelves, fridges and displays

• Accept and work deliveries into the store

• Keep the shop floor, stock areas and general store clean and organised

• Check stock, dates and maintain store presentation

• Pick and pack Scoot grocery orders accurately

• Deliver Scoot customer orders safely and promptly within the local area

• Assist with all other general duties involved in the day-to-day running of the store

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Friendly and confident dealing with customers

• Able to work independently and as part of a small team

• Comfortable working in a busy convenience-store environment

• Willing to carry out both driving and all general in-store duties

• Good attention to detail when picking and preparing customer orders

Pay

Competitive hourly pay plus delivery incentives.
