Description
As Shipping and Facilities Assistant you will:
Coordinate and manage domestic and international shipping processes.
Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and records.
Oversee inventory and ensure accurate tracking of shipments.
Provide support in managing facilities and maintaining a functional workspace.
Assist with supplier and vendor communications related to shipping and facilities.
Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
Address and resolve any shipping or facilities-related issues promptly.
Contribute to the overall smooth operation of the retail environment.Profile
A successful Shipping and Facilities Assistant should have:
Experience or familiarity with shipping logistics in a professional setting.
An understanding of facilities management and operational support.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.
Proficiency in relevant IT tools and software.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
Clean driving license with the qualification to drive a 3500kg truck is required.
