Are you an experienced Senior Buyer with a passion for global sourcing and strategic procurement?

We're looking for a commercially–minded procurement professional to take ownership of an international supplier network, sourcing precision–machined components for a market–leading engineering manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you'll have genuine influence over purchasing strategy, supplier development, and supply chain resilience.

What you'll be doing:

Developing and managing an international supplier base across Europe and Asia.Negotiating commercial agreements to secure the best value, quality and delivery.Identifying new sourcing opportunities and driving cost–saving initiatives.Managing supplier performance and ensuring a resilient supply chain.Monitoring market trends, mitigating risk and improving procurement strategies.Working closely with engineering, production and operations to support business growth.

What we're looking for:

Proven experience purchasing precision–machined components internationally.Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.Experience working with overseas suppliers, particularly across Asia and Europe.Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.A strategic thinker who enjoys improving processes and delivering commercial value.Experience within engineering, manufacturing, valves, oil & gas or similar industries would be highly advantageous.
