Description
We are seeking a Senior Buyer to join the Procurement & Supply Chain department within the life science industry.
This role requires a detail–oriented individual to manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships effectively in Clevedon.

Description
Manage procurement activities to ensure the timely supply of goods and services.Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all purchasing activities.Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to meet business requirements.Work closely with internal departments to forecast procurement needs and manage inventory levels.Analyse procurement data and prepare reports to support decision–making processes.Lead initiatives to improve procurement processes and supply chain efficiency.Profile
A successful Senior Buyer should have:
Experience in procurement and supply chain management within the life science industry.Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.Knowledge of procurement processes and relevant industry standards.Ability to analyse data and present insights effectively.Excellent organisational and time management skills.A relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.Job Offer
