Up to £25,000 per annum (depending on experience) + benefits

Are you an organised and detail-focused administrator looking to build your career within purchasing and supply chain?

Our client is an established and growing specialist manufacturer and supplier, working with customers across the globe. They are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join their friendly and dynamic team and provide key administrative support across their purchasing and supply chain activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys working with suppliers, managing information and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day purchasing function, helping to ensure continuity of supply, competitive pricing and accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

Raising, reviewing and processing purchase orders

Maintaining accurate purchasing, supplier and product records using the company ERP system

Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Senior Purchasing Administrator and internal stakeholders to improve purchasing processes

Supporting supplier price negotiations

Building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers

Coordinating inbound logistics for purchased materials and liaising with transport providers and internal teams

Scheduling deliveriesAbout You:

Previous administration/purchasing experience

You will be highly organised, accurate and comfortable managing several tasks and priorities at the same time

Experience using an ERP system or similar

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong written and verbal communication skills
