Key Responsibilities

Procurement Planning & Delivery

Support the development and maintenance of procurement plans aligned with programme schedules and budget requirements.

Assist with the implementation of sourcing strategies to support programme delivery.

Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely supply of goods and services.

Source ad hoc requirements and manage purchase requisitions.

Supplier & Contract Management

Support supplier identification, prequalification and evaluation activities.

Coordinate supplier onboarding processes, including confidentiality agreements and commercial terms.

Prepare supplier performance data and support supplier development initiatives.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply, innovation and value creation.

Assist with the development and monitoring of supplier performance measures.

Support contract award processes and contract administration activities.

Coordinate contract correspondence, notices and claims documentation where required.

Assist with the resolution of invoice and purchase order queries.

Cost & Performance Improvement

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement across procurement activities.

Support tracking and reporting of cost-saving initiatives against programme targets.

Stakeholder Engagement

Develop effective working relationships across multiple business functions.

Coordinate communication between project teams, suppliers and stakeholders.

Escalate emerging risks and issues in a timely manner to support programme delivery.

Reporting & Governance

Maintain accurate procurement and contract records.

Produce regular reports on procurement performance, supplier activity and programme progress.

Support compliance with organisational policies, legal requirements and industry standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Experience within Contracts & Procurement, preferably within motorsport, automotive, engineering, manufacturing or a similar technical environment.

Basic understanding of contract law, procurement principles and commercial negotiation techniques.

Exposure to both pre-contract and post-contract activities.

Degree-level qualification in a technical, engineering or commercial discipline.

CIPS qualification or working towards membership would be advantageous.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.

Strong analytical, reporting and data management capabilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
