Procurement Contract Manager (Bristol area)

Our client is seeking a Procurement Contract Manager to support defence clients, based in the Bristol area. This is a strong opportunity for a procurement professional who wants exposure to high–profile defence programmes, operating in a regulated environment.

Working pattern: Hybrid – onsite 1–3 days per week (site location within the Bristol area).

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end–to–end delivery of procurement and contract management activity across defence–facing programmesSupport sourcing strategy development aligned to commercial and programme prioritiesManage supplier engagement, tender activity (where required), negotiation and contract award supportProvide commercial/procurement advice to internal stakeholders throughout the procurement lifecycleSupport contract mobilisation and ongoing supplier/contract performance managementMaintain reporting on progress, risks, and commercial outcomes

Job Requirements:

Experience in procurement / contract management within a regulated environmentSecurity Clearance (SC) strongly preferred (support available to obtain SC if not currently held)MOD/defence procurement experience ideal, but strong public sector procurement backgrounds will also be consideredConfident stakeholder management and able to work across multi–disciplinary teamsStrong written and verbal communication skills

Benefits:
