The Company

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester.This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

The Role

This is a fast–paced, shopfloor–facing role where you ll be responsible for ensuring materials are available to keep production running to schedule.

You ll work closely with production teams, supply chain, and logistics to resolve shortages and maintain flow across the line.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure materials are delivered to the production line on time and in fullExpedite urgent parts and chase deliveries through to machine arrivalIdentify material shortages and drive corrective action plansSupport production teams by resolving part availability issues quicklyInvestigate root causes of supply issues and help implement improvementsMaintain system accuracy using AX (stock movements, works orders, scrap, etc.)Review production orders (MOS) and remove blockers to keep builds on track What We re Looking For

Experience in a manufacturing / production environmentBackground in materials, logistics, supply chain, or planningConfident working on the shopfloor and communicating with production teamsStrong problem–solving mindset and sense of ownershipIT literate (ERP systems experience beneficial e.g. AX) Nice to Have

Experience with AX or similar ERP systemsUnderstanding of BOMs / production ordersExposure to purchasing or logistics functions The successful candidate can also expect the following:
