Description
Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Export Clerk to work a permanent late shift (M-F 3.30pm - Midnight) for a fast growing Freight / Courier company based in the Heathrow area.
Key Responsibilities
Process export documentation, MAWB, HAWBS, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.Ensure all shipments comply with customs regulations and international trade laws.Liaise with freight forwarders, airlines and transport companies .Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and documentation.Assist in resolving any customs-related issues.Work closely with internal departments to coordinate export processes efficiently.Ensure all export documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.Stay up to date with changes in export regulations and customs requirements.Key Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in an export role, ideally within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain.Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation.Experience using customs entry systems Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:30 to 00.00 - Can be flexible to the right candidate.
