Butchery Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a number of Butchery Assistants to join a busy and friendly team based in Galhampton on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for hands–on work within a food production environment, with full training provided and immediate starts available.

As a Butchery Assistant, your duties will include:

Packing and preparing meat products for distributionLabelling meat products accuratelyEnsuring products are handled and stored correctlyCleaning work areas and equipment to maintain hygiene standardsFollowing food hygiene, health and safety proceduresKeeping the working environment clean, tidy and organisedSupporting the wider team with general duties as required

Full training will be provided, so previous butchery or food production experience is not essential. No heavy lifting is involved.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Pay Rate: 12.92 per hour
