Vfr750 swingarm rc36 90-93 hagon shock vfr 750 streetfighter conversion

Been sitting spare from a vfr i split a few years ago, had various plans i just never quite got round to, just one of those.

As you can see from the pics there's bright aluminum undearneath the dirt, bike had a scotoiler fitted so Attracted it but also coated everything in oil.

May still have a rear caliper and carrier to go with it, likely needing rebuilt.

Rear hub bearings feel fine, disc looks okay, the shock has a crusty spring but very well may be a good functioning shock still and there might be slight rocker bearing play where the shock mounts however it may have been lateral play i was feeling.

This is the early rc36 90-93 variation which has a preferable shock offset for conversion, however you'll need to know the specifics of your own bike.

The early rc36 8spoke wheels are a bit difficult to get a hold of now but the 5spoke vfr800 are a cheap decent looking and lighter alternative. Or pick a suitable offset 4x100 17" car wheel.
