Our little Renault Kangoo Expression 1.5 microcamper has done 115k miles (we’ve put a higher milage than the photos as it’s still our running vehicle for now)
The MOT was done in February 2026 so VAILD MOT UNTIL 10TH FEB 2027.

We are so happy with the Red Rocket, we drove to Spain and back with absolutely no issues, it has been very well looked after. The interior was done by a company called Redcote Leisure, of course we did a bit of revamping by building a permanent bed with metre long drawers underneath for storage, these can take up to a whopping 50kg each.
There is more storage under the bed, overhead cupboards, and shelf above the drivers seats which is great for storing jackets and other bigger items. The Red Rocket is small but also somehow resembles a tardis storage wise.
We’re including a portable gas cooker and drinking water containers which fit perfectly in the middle section under the bed for your travels.
The bed is super comfy and is custom made, and the foam covers are removable and washable. The size of the bed is 112x180 (when extended) 160 when not extended

There are 3 sections of foam. The biggest stays on there, the second biggest is designed to be moved to access the cupboard underneath, and the smallest one is designed to put on the end of the bed with the seats forward for maximum comfort and legroom. The height of the car is really useful to allow you to sit up while on the bed.

There are also roof bars on the top (crossbars not included) which are great for a roofbox or surfboard. 

For when you’re parked up in colder places we have cut out insulation for every window, and there is a sliding curtain on the rear. The back windows are all tinted.
This van has worked so well for us over the past year and we are selling due to going travelling and having nowhere to store it while we are away.
It’s the perfect vehicle for weekend trips or hard core minimalist adventures, note there were two of us travelling in the Red Rocket so if you’re a solo roadtrip-er its perfect! The size also means you can park it easily anywhere and drive it down the narrowest of roads from Scotland to tiny Spanish villages, while looking like a local. The back seats also come with the car if you ever wanted to convert it back to a normal vehicle.
