I’ve been asked to sell this car by my friend for quite genuine reasons which can be explained as required.
The car is not registered at my home address as a result, though I have the V5 here with the car.
My friend has owned the car since November 2021 at 41,300 miles, buying it from Arnold Clark Renault Main Dealer at Grangemouth.
The car is now on 74,600 miles.
I have driven it for a few miles, it performs as expected while also offering a very comfortable ride.
Remarkably spacious too even in the back seats.
The MOT history shows 9-10,000 miles per annum in my friend’s ownership, although the last year has contributed only 6,000 miles.
Along the way there have been an array of advisories and a couple of fail items.
I’m pleased to report I have receipts present in the history indicating that all items have been addressed shortly after being identified, including the most recent from December 2025.
In addition to consumable items, a couple of key maintenance highlights were a new steering rack in December 2025 and a clutch and dual mass flywheel replacement in June 2023.
Just recently I’ve had the 4 x glow plugs and 2 x tyre pressure management sensors replaced to ready the car for sale.
Service information:
• March 2026 @ 74,602 2 x TPMS valves replaced
• March 2026 @ 74,584 miles 4 x glow plugs replaced
• December 2025 @ 74,414 miles, annual service, 4 wheel alignment, new wipers, pair track rod ends, steering rack and MOT
• November 2023 @ 58,280 miles, full service and MOT
• June 2023 @ 55,320 miles, 3 piece clutch kit and dual mass flywheel
• November 2022 @ 49,289 miles, service including discs and pads front and rear, pair of tyres and MOT
There is no service history present prior to my friend’s ownership but as you can see from the above it has been regularly and professionally maintained in his ownership over a four and a half year period including a couple of largish jobs as noted.
In terms of condition the car is generally clean and reasonably fresh and the interior is holding up well not exhibiting any excessive wear and tear.
I’ve tested the heater and demister and they work as intended.
Tyres are 2 x Antares, a RoadX and a Radar and all have good tread.
Bodywork has a few cosmetic issues as can be seen in the photos, a number of scrapes mainly to nearside and one to the offside, in addition there are a number of light scratches and swirls in the bonnet and flanks, indicative of either a garage jet-wash brush or potentially a cat having been on the bonnet.
On the front nearside edge of the bonnet I noticed an inch long bubbling under the paint.
Wheels are generally in good condition with some rash on rim edges and bubbling around valve stems.
There are two very light dings in the boot lid but they are along edges and hard to catch on camera.
The car is pretty reasonable looking from 10 feet.
The headlining has some marks on rear passenger side.
The nearside door mirror case has either been replaced or the painted section has been lost and the case present has some scratches or light cracking.
Upon locking the car, the nearside mirror automatically folds in but, the driver’s mirror does not.
There are two keys present, card type, one successfully operates the car locks etc and the other does not.
It may just need a new battery.
