The second-generation Renault 5 looked similar to its predecessor but under the skin the car was better packaged, with a transverse rather than longitudinal engine, and a wider, more spacious cabin. It was also great fun to drive, and still is. In an attempt to lend the Renault a more upmarket, “preppy” image, the basic model was renamed the 'Campus'. The specification was basic but still this was the most popular Renault 5 of the 1990s. Renault kept it in production alongside the Clio until 1996 to accommodate the demand for a more basic, budget-priced car.

This very original little Renault 5 Campus was supplied when new by Renault agents Russell's of Bexhill, finished in Crystal Green with a light grey cloth interior. Now showing just 20,500 miles recorded, with three private owners (the previous from 2002), the Renault is offered with original Renault dealer pack, two keys, previous MoT certificates and service invoices. 

Complete with a current MoT, what a fun car to pootle around in, and a rare survivor to boot.
