Location: Thorntonhall (G74)
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
Hours: Part-time (Evening tuck-ins & 1–2 morning shifts available. Perfect for local PA's looking to top up their hours!)
Are you a reliable, professional, and dedicated Care Assistant or PA looking to expand your local client base? A small, friendly, and well-organized team of Personal Assistants is looking for an experienced self-employed carer to support a gentleman living with MS in his own home. He is an electric wheelchair user who lives with his wife and is passionate about maintaining his independence with the right support.
The Role & Hours:
Primary Focus: Dedicated evening tuck-in support.
Flexibility: Potential for 1–2 morning shifts per week.
Exact hours and days can be discussed and mutually agreed upon to suit your current schedule.
What You Will Be Doing:
Providing high-quality, person-centered care to assist with all aspects of daily living, including:Personal care & medication administration,Safe moving and handling, Assisting with light exercises,Ensuring a comfortable evening routine (tuck-in service)
What We Are Looking For:
Credentials: Must be registered as self-employed (or willing to register for a UTR number with HMRC).
Location: Ideally living within 15 minutes of Thorntonhall (G74) due to the nature of the shifts.
Skills: Solid experience in moving & handling and specialized care.
Driver: A full driving license is preferred.
Qualities: Reliability, professionalism, and a genuinely caring, positive nature.
