Salary: Competitive basic + profit share bonus

Nurseplus is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Colchester branch. This role is ideal for a recruitment professional who thrives on sales, relationship-building, and growing a desk, while delivering excellent service to clients and candidates.

You ll play a key role in driving branch performance by developing new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and supporting the wider team through your experience and leadership.

The Role As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you ll manage your own desk with a strong focus on sales and growth, while acting as a role model within the branch.

Key responsibilities include:

Proactively generating new business and winning new client accounts

Developing and growing relationships with existing clients

Managing the full recruitment lifecycle: sales, sourcing, compliance, and placement

Achieving and exceeding sales, margin, and activity KPIs

Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and market share

Supporting and mentoring junior consultants where required

Maintaining high standards of service delivery and candidate care

Representing Nurseplus professionally in the local market

About You We re looking for someone confident, motivated, and commercially focused.

You will have:

Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or Senior Recruitment Consultant

A strong track record in sales, business development, and billing

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

The ability to build long-term client relationships

Strong organisational skills and a target-driven mindset

Resilience, energy, and a proactive approach

Experience in healthcare recruitment is desirable, but candidates from other recruitment sectors with strong sales performance will be considered.
