People Partner - Local Authority

Description

My client in South Yorkshire are looking to appoint a talented People Partner on a Contract basis.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you will guide a team of HR Consultants, support complex casework, and work closely with employment law specialists to bring cases to timely and effective resolution.

Salary: 350- 400 per day, Inside IR35 negotiable based on experience

About the role:

Based in South Yorkshire (Hybrid):

Act as a trusted HR partner, providing strategic and operational support across all HR functions.Lead and develop a team of HR consultants, ensuring consistent and effective service delivery.Drive workforce planning initiatives to align resources with organisational priorities.Oversee high-volume casework, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.

About you:

You will have the following experiences:

Extensive experience in a similar roleStrong generalist HR expertise, including workforce planning and employment lawCIPD qualifiedLocal Authority experience is essential
