Portsmouth, UK (hybrid working available)

Basic salary GBP27-GBP30,000 with an OTE of GBP35-40k

About the Role

This role will be ideal for someone who is looking to begin their career within Recruitment!

We're seeking a personable and proactive Junior Recruiter to join our dynamic team, to support the business growth. If you thrive in a collaborative team environment and enjoy taking ownership of clear tasks and responsibilities, this role is perfect for you. As part of our Recruitment team, you'll play an essential role in ensuring the smooth progression of candidates through the recruitment journey and bringing new talent into the business.

From processing applications, handling initial screening calls, organising interviews and facilitating job offers, your work will make a real impact to the business and the teams we support, across all of our offices in the UK and US. In addition to the Recruitment responsibilities, you will be supporting the Head of Recruitment with vital reporting on key metrics that support the function, so strong numerical and excel skills will be essential for this role. You will have a clear, structured progression pathway, based on target achievement, to increase your responsibilities and earning potential. Full training will be provided from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Reviewing applications and shortlisting suitable candidates for various roles via our ATS.

Conduct initial video interviews to assess attitude, eligibility and availability.

Engage with our hired talent to support their onboarding journey.

Dealing with pre-employment checks such as right to work.

Assist the team with using various resourcing tools to secure top talent.

Handle and process sensitive information confidentially, ensuring recruitment successes are meticulously recorded and tracked.

Managing administrative reporting, while delivering excellent stakeholder and candidate service in a fast-paced environment.

Effectively prioritize competing tasks and handle multiple stakeholder needs simultaneously.

Support candidates with great feedback, irrespective of outcome.

What we need to see from you:

Knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices, with experience in recruitment or resourcing activities. ATS experience, using systems such as Team Tailor would be advantageous.

Proven experience in process-driven environments with a strong focus on administrative accuracy and attention to detail.

Background in administration or customer service, demonstrating an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel

Experience in dealing with confidential information sensitively and appropriately.

Confidence and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Keen desire for progression and to learn new skills.
