Interim HR Consultant

Description

A higher education organisation are looking for an Interim HR Consultant to join for a 6-9 month FTC. The role predominately is to partner with directorates to reduce costs of senior academics in line with managing and building manager capability to manage performance. You will have strong knowledge of employment law, managing change and performance management. The role is based in London, offering hybrid working.

An Interim HR Consultant to:

Support academics with handling complex performance cases with senior staff membersDevelop a robust structure and process to support managers on how to handle difficult conversationsPartner with Heads of to coach on how to have challenging conversations and understand the options for reducing their team size and managing under-performanceDevelop a robust framework for managing under-performanceDesign longer term initiatives to help create a change in performance management and capabilityPartner with stakeholders to strengthen performance management capability and accountabilityPartner with directorates to reduce costs of senior academics in line with performance conversationsProfile

An Interim HR Consultant with:

Proven track record in handling complex performance casesStrong knowledge of improving performance management and capability with managersPrevious experience working in higher education or with academics essentialPrevious trade union experienceGood stakeholder management and coaching experience to advise managers on how to reduce costs and provide confidence in performance management conversationsJob Offer
