Job Title: HR Specialist - People Operations

Location: Warwick / 2 days on site

Contract Type: 6 months

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join a busy and collaborative People Operations team on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone with strong HR coordination experience who enjoys delivering a high-quality employee experience while ensuring accuracy across all People processes.

As the first point of contact for HR-related queries, you will support colleagues and managers across the full employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, managing HR cases, and providing administrative support across a wide range of HR activities using Workday and other HR systems.

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Warwick, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver efficient and accurate HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data changes, benefits, reward, and immigration support.Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely updates within the HR system (Workday).Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.Manage and resolve employee and manager queries through the HR case management system.Complete right-to-work checks and ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation.Support key annual HR processes including performance reviews, promotions, talent activities, and reward cycles.Assist with HR projects, organisational changes, audits, and data updates as required.Produce regular HR reports and analyse workforce data to support business needs.Maintain and update process documentation to ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers to deliver an excellent employee experience.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the HR Operations function.Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in an HR Coordination or HR Operations role.Experience supporting a wide range of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.Strong working knowledge of Workday or a similar HR Information System.Experience using HR case management systems.Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and administrative skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to produce and analyse HR reports.A customer-focused approach with the ability to build effective relationships across the business.Experience working with external suppliers or third-party service providers.A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.Desirable
