HR Manager

Description

Our client, a rapidly expanding robotics company in the defence and security, automotive, and aerospace sectors, is currently seeking an HR Manager. This permanent role offers the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and innovative team in Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementing HR policies and procedures in alignment with global guidelines from the HQ.Managing employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary procedures, and fostering a positive workplace culture.Developing and overseeing benefits programmes and ensuring compliance with employment laws.Conducting recruitment and onboarding processes for new hires.Providing support for workforce planning and development initiatives.

Job Requirements:

Experience in HR management within a STEM or production facility environment, particularly in naval, aerospace, or maritime industries.In-depth knowledge of benefits, employee relations, and employment law.Experience of working in blue-collar environments.Flexible around working hours to accommodate out-of-hours calls.Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a global team.CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.
