Description
A growing and fast paced organisation based in Henley-on-Thames is seeking a HR Assistant & Compliance Coordinator to join its team in a full time, fully office based role. This is a varied position supporting HR administration, compliance processes and wider business operations across multiple areas of the business.
This role will suit someone who is highly organised, confident handling confidential information and comfortable managing a varied workload within a busy professional environment.
This is a full time role, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm.
Salary GBP30,000 - GBP32,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits including private healthcare and gym membership.
The role
Supporting onboarding and induction processes for new startersPreparing employment contracts, offer letters and HR documentationManaging employee records and ensuring HR systems remain up to dateCoordinating probation reviews and supporting absence and holiday administrationMonitoring HR inboxes and responding to employee queries professionally and efficientlySupporting recruitment coordination including interview scheduling and candidate communicationAssisting with employee benefits administration and employment referencesSupporting senior management with confidential HR matters and documentationMaintaining compliance records and monitoring mandatory training completionSupporting GDPR processes and confidential data handling proceduresAssisting with health & safety administration and wider compliance trackingSupporting policy coordination and ensuring accurate record keeping across HR and compliance functionsAssisting with general office administration and wider business support tasksAbout you
Previous experience within a HR administration, HR assistant or compliance support roleStrong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detailConfident handling confidential and sensitive information professionallyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly IT literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsAble to multitask and prioritise workload effectively within a busy office environmentExperience maintaining accurate records and following structured processesKnowledge of HR administration and employee lifecycle processesA proactive and positive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamExperience supporting compliance-related processes would be advantageousCIPD qualification or studying towards CIPD would be beneficial but not essential
