HR Advisor
Salary: 40,000 Per Annum
Luton/Hybrid - Commuting distance of Luton, 3 days in office
Working Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
What you will be doing:
Manage a caseload of ER matters - including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, and capability - from initial query through to resolutionDraft and review letters, invite notices, outcome letters, and correspondence, ensuring they are accurate, fair, and legally sound Take part in policy reviews, keeping them current, accessible, and consistently applied Contribute to manager capability work - one-pagers, toolkits, and briefings that make it easier for managers to manage well Be an active ambassador for fast, firm, fair - the approach THN uses to manage performance and conduct - supporting its consistent application across the organisation Build partnering relationships with managers and team leaders across THN -being visible, accessible, and trusted
Who we are looking for:
Previous experience in an HR Advisory or HR Generalist roleSound working knowledge of employment law - able to advise confidently on common ER scenarios Experience managing or supporting ER casework (disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence, capability) Comfortable coaching and advising managers who are not HR specialists Organised, reliable, and able to manage a large caseload with independently CIPD Level 5 or above (or working towards) (Desirable)
