Description

We are partnering with a values-driven organisation in Glasgow to recruit an experienced HR Adviser to join their wider HR team.

This is a varied and rewarding generalist role offering the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative HR function. The role has a strong focus on employee relations, while also supporting broader people initiatives, learning activity, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

You will act as a trusted HR partner to managers, providing clear and practical guidance on a wide range of people matters, while also contributing to the development of tools, resources, and approaches that enhance people management capability.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a range of employee relations cases including absence, performance, disciplinaries, and grievances Provide proactive HR advice and support to managers across a range of generalist issues Work both independently and collaboratively within the HR team to deliver effective people solutions Support the development of learning resources, guidance materials, and manager toolkits Contribute to improvements in HR processes, systems, and ways of working Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and wider people initiatives Build effective relationships across the organisation to support a positive workplace culture

Essential Criteria

Full driving Liscence and access to a car Previous experience in a generalist HR role with exposure to employee relations Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively, as well as contribute within a team environment Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience using HR systems Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
